The Board
The Ontario Beauty Council is comprised of volunteer Members who are Leaders in the Beauty Industry with a track record of Integrity, Good Character and Compliance. Specifically, we aim to build a Board with Members who are a combination of Government Regulated Ontario Career College Owners or Beauty Subject Matter Experts, Adult Education Experts as well as Leading Beauty Professionals and Brand Owners with over 10 years of Industry experiences. There’s always room for more Members, apply today.
Working together with you, we primarily aim to increase the educational requirements of the Beauty Industry including mandating Training and Certification solely by Ministry Registered and Approved Educators. Change starts with Education and we believe by raising the bars on Beauty Education, we automatically increase the standard of sanitation and Client safety.

Our Mission
To raise Beauty Education Standards by mandating minimum education requirements for Beauty Professionals and eliminate the validity of informal training.
To increase the safety of Clients and Professionals with increased levels of sanitation in all avenues of the Beauty industry including Hair, Esthetics, Lashes, Nails and Makeup. Additionally enforce mandatory use of personal protective equipment.
Unveil and educate Consumers and Professionals on cosmetic chemistry and the harmful effects of harsh ingredients.
